01

Application Deadline

Media requests should be submitted no later than 5 PM Eastern, 10 days before Championship Week begins. Late applications may be reviewed case by case, depending on space and staffing.

02

Credential Access

Credentials are limited and issued at the discretion of the US Disc Golf media team. Professional journalists, photographers, and videographers are prioritized; creators, sponsors, partners, and social media teams are evaluated individually.

03

Badge Types

Badge access may vary. Some media may be allowed inside the ropes, while others may shoot from spectator areas or behind the ropes. All media must stay behind Disc Golf Network when DGN is working a card.

04

Practice Rounds

Approved media access begins with practice rounds before the official start of Championship play. Coverage must not interfere with player preparation, and interviews require advance approval from the player and media team.

05

Championship Rounds

On-course photography equipment should be silent. Media must disclose equipment before arrival; drones and specialized gear require written approval. During play, avoid player sight lines and remain clear of throwing routines.

06

Interviews

On-course interviews are not allowed during tournament play. Disc Golf Network has first interview access after play. Additional player or staff interviews should be requested through the US Disc Golf media team.

07

Content Use

Live streaming or real-time reporting of official tournament play is prohibited. Published coverage must be sufficiently delayed and must not interfere with DGN broadcast rights or official scoring/play-by-play coverage.

08

Commercial Use

Event content may be used editorially by approved media. Sponsorship, partnership, advertising, resale, or commercial uses require prior written approval from the US Disc Golf media team.

09

Credit And Sharing

Published event coverage should credit USDGC and/or Throw Pink where appropriate. Media captured onsite may be requested by US Disc Golf for event use, archive purposes, and promotional needs.

10

Revocation

Credentials may be revoked for policy violations, restricted-area access, disruption of play, failure to follow staff direction, or conflicts with event media rights.
